Filippo Inzaghi may leave Pisa after reaching Serie A. Previously, the club, under the leadership of a specialist, reached Serie A for the first time in 34 years. The last time Pisa competed in the top division was in the 1990/91 season.
According to journalist Canluca Di Marzio, the head coach and the club may part ways and not continue cooperation in the Italian Championship.
It is noted that the coach has approached the club with certain projects and requests and is waiting for answers, but the intentions of the parties do not seem to coincide.
At the same time, Palermo is interested in inviting a coach. However, an agreement will need to be found both with the Tuscan club and between the two clubs.
Meanwhile, Pisa is already working on a list of possible successors in the event of Inzaghi`s departure. Among the candidates being considered are Alberto Gilardino, Andrea Pirlo and Paolo Zanetti if he leaves Verona.
The President of Pisa joked that he would only let Inzaghi go to the City: That`s where I`ll let him go. He is enjoying success again, also thanks to us
